Donation Terms and Conditions
By making a donation to Maroochydore Surf Life Saving Club Inc., you acknowledge and agree that:
- Voluntary Donation
- Your donation is made voluntarily and without expectation of goods, services or benefits in return.
- Use of Donations

Donations will be used to support the Club’s building renovation project, lifesaving services, training, equipment, facilities, youth development programs, community safety initiatives and other operational requirements.
- Where a donation is made to a specific appeal or project, the Club will endeavour to apply the funds to that purpose. However, should the appeal become fully funded or no longer required, the Club may redirect funds to areas of greatest need.

- Donation Processing
- Donations are processed securely through approved payment providers.
- You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided and that all information supplied is accurate.
- Tax Receipts
- Where applicable, tax receipts will be issued in accordance with Australian taxation requirements.
- Donors should seek independent taxation advice regarding the deductibility of donations.
- Refunds
- Donations are generally non-refundable.
- Refund requests may be considered in cases of administrative error, duplicate transactions, incorrect amounts or unauthorised use of a payment method.
- Refund requests should be made within 30 days of the donation.
- Privacy
- Personal information collected during the donation process will be handled in accordance with the Club’s Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy laws.
- Communications
- The Club may contact donors regarding their donation, receipts or administrative matters.
- Marketing and fundraising communications will only be sent where the donor has provided consent or where otherwise permitted by law.
- Changes
- The Club reserves the right to amend these Donation Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on the Club’s website.
