Maroochydore Surf Club is a voluntary community based organisation, our mission is to take an active and leading role to educate our community on beach safety. Through public education, patrol, junior activities, training and exchange programs we strive to prevent injury and the loss of life here at Maroochydore Beach.Learn More
Becoming a volunteer lifesaver gives you valuable skills including knowledge of rescue techniques, first aid, resuscitation and radio operation. Once trained, active members are then places onto the patrol roster to monitor and protect visitors of Maroochydore beach.Learn More
Nippers is for children aged 5 to under 14, as they progress throughout the ages they will develop skills inrunning, swimming, board paddling and lifesaving skills. We love to welcome new members to our surf live saving community!Learn More
Become an Active Life Saver in our club!
To become a volunteer lifesaver the first award you need to gain is the Bronze Medallion. Once you have gained your Bronze Medallion, active members are then placed onto a patrol roster and are expected to perform voluntary patrols for the Club between September and May.
